Kareena Kapoor wants sharing profits in the film

Talking to a daily, “Kareena had earlier demanded Rs. 8 crore. After several meetings, she has now decided to slash her fee. However, she will now be a part of the profit sharing rights. The producers have worked it out in a way that Kareena ends up getting Rs. 8 crore out of the project.”

Not long ago, when Kareena hiked her fee and demanded a whopping sum of Rs. 8 crore from the filmmaker, after some serious discussion, Bhandarkar, UTV and Kareena reached an understanding where the actress will reduce her fee and will be sharing profits with the producer, filmmaker and co-star Arjun Rampal.

Apparently, Kareena will be the first actress who will be sharing profits in the film while Aamir, Salman, SRK and Imran have done the same in the past.

“Imran took a profit sharing for ‘Break Ke Baad.’ Salman has been signing all his films these days and sharing profits for them. In Bollywood, the trend is such that the bigger the actor becomes the higher their fees get. Profit sharing thus, seems to be the best form of payment. Kareena is the first female actor to have entered this space,” added the source.

Sonam-Shahid’s Passionate lip lock in `Mausam`

Man of all season Shahid Kapoor has a passionate lip-lock scene in Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut `Mausam’. B-town is abuzz with the actors’ scintillating kiss on Sonam Kapoor’s lips.

After initially denying any smooching scene in the film, Sonam Kapoor has finally admitted that her upcoming flick `Mausam` does have a steamy kissing scene.

Even producer Sheetal Talwar clarified that there were no apprehensions from Sonam’s end and she readily agreed to do the scene.

"Sonam is a fantastic actress. She had a very comfortable equation with Pankaj and Shahid. If there were any aspersions whatsoever, they were cast aside during the course of the shoot," said Talwar.

Hmm…will this scene turn out to be the USP of `Mausam`? We need to wait and watch!

Drew Barrymore regrets not having a "Childhood life"

The 36-year-old Drew Barrymore, who shot to fame after starring in `ET the Extra-Terrestrial` at the age of seven, never got to experience things which children usually do, such as going to school,

The actress was moved to see how passionate children were about getting an education when she went on a trip to Kenya.

"I was really moved. I never went to school myself. I was doing a job and didn`t have a kid`s life. I wanted to learn more about why these kids were so passionate, walking so far and overfilling their classrooms," said Barrymore.

The `Charlie`s Angels` star said her trip to Kenya made her realise how important it is to donate money to people living in third world countries because it has such a positive impact on their lives.

"It`s amazing to me that the kids mention professions which involve helping others, that they are naturally philanthropic. People can feel unconfident about sending money into the void of a charity. But when you find something like this that speaks to your heart, it gives you the courage to look beyond your own problems and take the first small steps to try as an individual to make an impact.

John Abraham lifts a 150 kg bike in Force

Bollywood hunk John Abraham took his obsession with mean machines to another level when he surprised the cast and crew by lifting a 150 kg bike in ‘Force.’

Apparently, when director Nishikant Kamat told John about the scene, the hunk of an actor persisted on the doing the scene all by himself, that too without any harness.

Talking to a daily, producer Vipul Shah said, “I was not on the sets the day John was shooting for the scene. When Nishikant called me to say he was planning to do it without a harness, I told him not to allow him to do the same as he could hurt his back or knee. But he was confident and insisted on performing it.”

John Abraham pulled off the adrenaline rushing stunt brilliantly.

"John is a physical guy so the action was all high octane. We did use cables for certain sequences, but when it needed to be raw like the bike scene, he did it himself,” added action director Allan Amin.

Sonakshi doesn’t consider in competition

Sonakshi Sinha is giving other actresses a run for their money by bagging endorsements and big films, but the `Dabangg` girl says she doesn`t consider herself as part of the competition.

Sonakshi has got a fat role in "Race 2", which was supposed to be played by Katrina Kaif. The 24-year-old has a practical outlook about someone stepping into someone else`s shoes

"If someone is not able to do a film, someone else has to take his or her place. It`s just being at the right place at the right time," she said.

Right now her kitty is full of films. She is shooting for Shirish Kunder`s "Joker" and is about to start shooting for "Rowdy Rathore", both of which have Akshay Kumar as her co-star. Then she has "Race 2" and "Son of Sardar".

The actress, who debuted with Salman Khan in "Dabangg", has got another film called "Kick" with the star.

"I am happy that I am working with some of the best and I consider myself very fortunate enough to have got such a chance," she said.

Sonakshi`s rumoured cold war with actress Neetu Chandra and Anushka Sharma being miffed with her over her growing proximity with actor Ranveer Singh have been the talk of B-town -- however, Sonakshi doesn`t care about it any more.

"I don`t take such rumours seriously. I have stopped reading the newspapers and I am very happy. I used to feel bad initially but now I believe it is better to let people talk about you rather than not talk about you at all. I just turn a deaf ear and carry on with my work," she said with a carefree attitude.
